Introduction

Tracking delivery progress in Odoo typically requires opening each Sales Order individually to check linked stock picking records. For high-volume teams, this is slow and repetitive. The Sales Delivery Status module solves this by adding a dedicated Delivery Status column directly to the Sales Orders list view. Without opening a single record, your team can instantly see whether each order is Not Delivered, Partially Delivered, or Fully Delivered updated in real time as deliveries are validated. Assess fulfillment progress at a glance without opening a single record.

Fulfillment Quantity Logic

The system automatically compares the Quantity Ordered vs Quantity Delivered on every line item. This logic handles standard shipments, partial deliveries, and even backorders seamlessly.

View the calculated overall status instantly: "Not Delivered" for zero progress, "Partial Delivered" when some lines are confirmed, and "Fully Delivered" once the entire order is fulfilled.

Yes. The field depends on the ordered and delivered quantities across all order lines and recomputes automatically whenever either value changes including when a delivery is validated, a return is processed, or a line quantity is edited.
The column is optional by default, meaning each user controls its visibility individually. Click the column selector icon (⋮) at the top-right corner of the Sales Orders or Quotations list and tick Delivery Status to show it.
Yes. The status is computed by summing quantities across all order lines, not per delivery. An order with three lines two fully delivered and one pending will show Partial Delivered until all lines are complete.
No. Delivery Status is a computed, non-stored selection field. It is calculated on the fly from existing data and adds no new column to the database. No migration is required at install or upgrade.
Because the field is computed and non-stored, Odoo’s standard filter and group-by features cannot be used directly on it. If filtering by delivery status is required, contact our support for a stored-field custom adaptation.
The module only adds a new computed field to sale.order and injects the column into two list views. It does not override any existing field, method, or view. Conflicts with other modules are extremely unlikely.
